About the author

Hello, I’m Cristina Gherghel. I’ve had the opportunity to live in four different countries, each offering its own unique challenges and lessons.
My professional journey has led me through various roles, including working as a hostess, an analyst, in human resources, and caring for the elderly, among others. These experiences have allowed me to observe and understand humans from different perspectives.

I have an entrenched hunger for understanding human behaviour and the intricacies of the mind. This passion, coupled with my personal experiences, heavily influences my writing. In my work, I explore themes of resilience, self-identity, and the complexities of human relationships.

Throughout my life, I’ve encountered misunderstanding, undermining, discrimination, manipulation, and more. While these experiences were challenging, they have enriched my narratives, making them relatable to many who face similar struggles.

I wanted to be a writer since I was 8, but only at 40, when I had a monumental life crisis, did I start to work on this dream I never dared to even consider possible.

My writing aims to reflect the silent battles many face and the strength of the human spirit in overcoming adversity. I hope that my work resonates with you and provides a deeper understanding of the human condition.
Gratitude for your interest in my journey as an author.
